Fluentd not working with SQL server multiple instances

We are implementing the FluentD to send message from buffer file to SQL server database table. In case of multiple SQL server instances, flunetD not able to log message in the associated SQL instance. Following error occur at time of the connection. error_class=TinyTds::Error error=“Server name not found in configuration files”.

We have multiple SQL server instances like “VM-VDIP49-03\CNMOM”, “VM-VDIP49-03\CNMOM2”, “VM-VDIP49-03\CNMOM3” on single server “VM-VDIP49-03” below are the configuration for the database instance tag

@type sql
host VM-VDIP49-03\CNMOM
database MIODB
adapter sqlserver
username ***
password ***
table mio_LogEntry
column_mapping ‘MIOLogId,ReceivedTimestampUtc,EntryTimestampUtc,MachineName,Source,Category,LogText,LogLevel’ flush_interval 2s

It may be that Fluentd is having a hard time resolving that DNS name - one idea is to try it with an IP Address instead and see if that helps out

Tried with the IP address like “host 172.24.0.0\CNMOM”.
but same error error_class=TinyTds::Error error=“Server name not found in configuration files”.

Can we pass port number of SQL server instance?
